Hello! My name is Emily Anderson and I am a senior studying Environmental Science with a Biology minor from Eagan, MN. Initially, I began my college career as a biology major without any real clue of what field I wanted to specialize in. As I continued to study natural systems, I decided to focus more on the world around me and switch my major to Environmental Science. Many of my courses have focused on water systems and conservation, both of which have strong anthropogenic connections. Within Dr. Levi’s lab, I am assisting with data collection and analysis for both the Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt and Racoon River research, but my main research is on water quality in rural Uganda and the associated public health issues.
