Thomas Ehlinger

My name is Thomas Ehlinger and I am a senior Environmental Science B.S major.  Originally from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, I came to Drake University and started on the track for Pharmacy school. After two years of shadowing different pharmacies, I decided that a Pharmacy was not the place for me, and switched over to Environmental Science my junior year.  This past summer I got to collaborate with Dr. Levi and Katie VanDooren on research regarding the effects of land-use on ecosystem health and water quality of streams in and around Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt, a conservation area in Polk County and conduct some research on the Raccoon River looking at denitrification and water quality.
